Yahoo’s Ross Dellenger indicates the SEC plans to comply with the state court order in Louisiana that would allow former pro players to return to the college gridiron & hardwood. More Dellenger: “However, it does not end litigation or necessarily mean the league won't in the future impose penalties through other legal mechanisms, such as a suit in federal court, or if the SEC wins in trial.” (link)

The plaintiffs’ request for an amended TRO in Louisiana has been granted, adding the SEC and Commissioner Greg Sankey as defendants. From the show cause order: “The Declaration (in support of the NCAA’s eligibility position) provides definitive proof that the SEC is a person ‘acting in concert or participation with’ the NCAA on eligibility issues and participated in nationwide litigation on this topic on behalf of the NCAA.
