The SEC Executive Committee will enforce conference regulations barring former NFL players from returning to college despite ongoing eligibility litigation involving LSU, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel. Tennessee Chancellor/SEC Executive Committee Chair Donde Plowman confirmed conference presidents voted to empower Commissioner Greg Sankey with the ability to impose penalties on non-compliant programs, including half-season head coach suspensions and the forfeiture of 50% of a sport's annual budget.
