The 30-day exclusive negotiating window ended on Friday, but the College Football Playoff yesterday said it would “continue to have ongoing discussions with ESPN” regarding the media rights for a potential 24-team playoff. From the CFP: “The dialogue throughout the window has been constructive, and we will carry these conversations forward with ESPN as we determine the path ahead.” ESPN’s Heather Dinich explains that unraveling the contracts for those conference championship games and determining their value has been a part of the negotiations (potentially $200M in value), as has determining the value of the additional games in an expanded field. When you’re feeding athletes and staff, reliability matters. Food needs to arrive on time, at the right location, and exactly as ordered to keep athletes fueled and schedules running smoothly.
ezCater helps teams stay on top of meal logistics by centralizing ordering in one place, making it easy to schedule deliveries in advance, enter detailed delivery information, and get confirmation that orders are on track. That means less time spent calling restaurants, checking on orders, and managing meal details manually.
For Northeastern University, that reliability helps Lauren Tebsherany, Director of Basketball Operations, manage more than 20 meals each month for 14 basketball players and 11 staff members during the season.
With ezCater, she can place an order with confidence, knowing the food will arrive when and where the team needs it.
“I like that I can place an order on ezCater and know that it’s going to arrive when it says it will. And I’m not going to have to worry about it in the process.”
– Lauren Tebsherany, Director of Basketball Operations, Northeastern University
